Description

Pressure treated 38 × 88mm timber fence rails for featheredge, closeboard and general timber fencing. These squared softwood rails provide the horizontal fixing support for fence boards and are available in 2.4m, 3.6m and 4.8m lengths.

The section is 38 × 88mm, also commonly described as 88 × 38mm or approximately 1½ × 3½in.

Motorway rails are substantial rectangular timber fence rails commonly used behind featheredge and closeboard boards. The 38 × 88mm section gives a broad fixing face for boards and exterior fixings.
