Choosing a timber fence post

75 × 75mm (3×3) – a compact option for lighter garden fencing.

100 × 100mm (4×4) – a larger square post for general garden and boundary fencing.

Larger sections – available where a more substantial timber post is required. Choose the size to suit the actual fence design rather than assuming one section fits every job.

Setting the post into the ground? Add our Wern-Wood 20kg rapid-set Postmix; for a standard 75mm or 100mm timber post, we normally allow around 1.5–2 bags per post.
